Demitri, you need to change the sample rates for Playback and Recording so they're the same:

(G-Track Pro can't work with two conflicting sample rates, so it flashes the red LED to warn you that one of the audio streams will be garbled.)

I would like to hear myself through my Steelseries Artic Pro+Gamedac Headphones without latency, how can I achieve this? The Headphones are connected through micro usb to micro usb, it does not use a 3.5mm jack. I have already tried going into my sound settings and enabling the "hear this device" check box, but that has too much latency.

I have the G track pro usb microphone

    Thanks!

Branden, those are digital headphones (which essentially have a built-in sound card), so there's no way to monitor through them other than high-latency software monitoring, as you've already found.  The signal needs to go through an analog→digital→analog conversion.

Most DAW software supports software monitoring, and it might be possible to configure it for lower latency using ASIO4ALL, etc., but there will always be some latency.

To do zero-latency monitoring, you need to plug analog headphones directly into the G-Track Pro's headphone output.  In this case, the signal goes directly from the mic to the headphones, never passing through the computer.

What if Windows doesn't see it at all. Like not even in my Serial Bus Controllers, just not visible anywhere. I used a meteor forever but am just about fed up with the "plug and play" that can't work because it just isn't seen. I've troubleshot for hours and I found nothing that helps. Also great that it's so "plug and play" that I can't find a driver set anywhere and am at the mercy of a company that I just gave money to to even start to get a working product. Sorry half of this is straight scorn. I just feel like the only one who has ever had this problem.

@Myself01234567 Just to rule them out, check it with a different USB port, a different USB cable, and a different computer.  If it still doesn't work, then it has a manufacturing defect and needs to be returned for a replacement.

USB Audio is a standard interface with drivers already built into every operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, etc.) so there's nothing to download.

I use a G Track Pro with a Razor Kraken Prov v2 gaming headset. Everything works fine for about 20-30 minutes, then randomly everything stops working. No audio, mic doesn't pick up. I've tried everything and it keeps happening. Help please

Why does the G-Track Pro not work when using a USB extension cable?  I have tried USB 2 and USB 3 cables.  None of them will work with this microphone.  What gives?  I need a cable about 4 foot longer than the one supplied.

When I use the G-Track Pro to live stream, the resulting output is weirdly lower in pitch. I do not have this issue recording audio or video to my computer.

    Thoughts?

Cullen, the pitch change is caused by a sample rate mismatch.  Probably the hardware is running at 48 kHz while the software is reading it at 44.1 kHz, for instance.  Did you set the sample rates as in the above guide?  Try setting both recording and playback to 44.1 kHz, and if that doesn't work, try setting both to 48 kHz.  Or see if your streaming software lets you set the sample rate somewhere.

Is there any possibilty to mix the microphone whilst live streaming? Such as adding reverb or mixing the mid or high? Thanks

Neil, you might find software from https://www.vb-audio.com/ useful. They have software virtual mixers, etc.

Hello - I ordered one recently and can't wait to get it. Quick question on audio out. I understand it is easy as connecting Gtrack pro to windows PC via USB cable that will be shipped. What are options to hear the output? I am aware there is head phones option to hear the output. What about output to an external speaker? Today i use Jabra mic and speaker via usb. I am replacing that with G Track Pro. I understand one option is Windows PC speaker?

I bought a Samson G Track Pro micophone, the day before yesterday. My operating system is used on WINDOWS 10. I found that the microphone recording volume was abnormally low and the settings did not work. I was very disappointed. I borrowed a Macbook from my friend, and i can tell that, the Mac systems is working correctly and there is nothing unusual.
