The G-Track Pro indicator LED will flash red if the Inputs (Microphone/Instrument) and Outputs (Headphones) are not set to the same sample rate. This is an issue that can arise on Windows computers because you can set the sample rates of the inputs and outputs independently.
Follow these steps to correctly set the sample rates.
- Open the Sound Settings Control Panel
- In the Output section, click "Device Properties". The Output Device Properties panel will open.
- Under Related Settings, click "Additional device properties". The Headphone Properties panel will open.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the section Default Format, click the dropdown menu and select the desired bit depth and sample rate. Click OK to save setting and close the window.
- Return to Sound Settings panel. In the Input section, click "Device Properties". The Input Device Properties panel will open.
- Under Related Settings, click "Additional device properties". The Mic/Inst Properties panel will open.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the section Default Format, click the dropdown menu and select the same bit depth and sample rate settings that you selected for the Headphones. Click OK to save setting and close the window.
