- Open System Preferences from the dock or the main Apple Menu.

- Open up Skype and in the menu select Audio & Video Settings
- Under Audio, in the Microphone section, check that the Samson Go Mic is listed as the microphone.
- In the Speakers section, make sure the Samson Go Mic is listed as the speaker device.
- Plug in your headphones and make a test call to make sure everything is working together
If the mic’s LED indicator is flashing, please try these additional steps:
- To set the sample rate, from the Applications folder, open the Utilities folder and open Audio MIDI Setup.

- Select the Samson Go Mic
- From the Format dropdown menu, select the desired sample rate and bit depth (typically 44.1kHz/16bit for video conferencing software)

- Set the Output sample rate by clicking the Properties button and selecting the Advanced tab.
